Under the Duty of Care, waste producers and waste management companies have a duty to classify and describe their waste correctly.

In order to accurately classify waste, it is necessary to perform a “Hazardous Property Assessment”, this is similar (but not identical) to the intricate classification process required by CHIP.

The system also calculates the relevant “H” code(s) based upon the waste composition and attributes of the final waste stream.
